At ReviewConnect, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform (the 'Platform') to facilitate reviews on third-party platforms.

By using the Platform, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Platform.

2. Information We Collect

We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when registering on the Platform, such as your name, email address, city, country, and for Businesses, Google Maps links or other third-party platform profile information. For Reviewers, we also collect location data to match you with tasks in your area.

Additionally, we may automatically collect certain information when you visit the Platform, including IP addresses, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and other usage information through cookies and similar tracking technologies like Google Analytics.

3. Use of Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to analyze how users interact with the Platform. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit the Platform, what pages they visit, and what other sites they used prior to coming to the Platform.

The information generated by Google Analytics is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google may use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the Platform, compiling reports on Platform activity, and providing other services relating to Platform activity and internet usage. You can opt-out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to operate and improve the Platform, facilitate connections between Businesses and Reviewers, process payments, and communicate with you about updates or issues related to your account or tasks.

Location data is specifically used to match Reviewers with tasks in their designated areas. We may also use aggregated, anonymized data for statistical analysis, marketing, or research purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information collected through the Platform for a period of 1 year from the date of collection or last interaction, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

After this period, we will securely delete or anonymize your personal information. If you request deletion of your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, subject to any legal obligations to retain certain information.

6. Sharing of Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with service providers who assist us in operating the Platform, such as payment processors, or with Google Analytics as described above, under strict confidentiality agreements.

We may also disclose your information if required by law, to enforce our Terms and Conditions, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ReviewConnect, our users, or the public.

As an intermediary, ReviewConnect is not responsible for how third parties, including Businesses, Reviewers, or other service providers, use or handle your information beyond what is necessary for operating the Platform. Any disputes or issues regarding data handling by users must be resolved directly with those parties.

7. Security of Your Information

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activities that occur under your account.
